researching items are how to get new items. you don't get them for free you have to research it. to find this Analysis Computer/lab get out of the hole your in and once your out go left go though the leaf and you will see it. when you get to the lab you will see this thing on the right side

you get three analyzer charges and once you researched it. It will tell you what recipes you got and it gives you raw science which you will need to doop or buy more recipes that can get you more items.
